Welcome to the F&M Bank Minnesota internet banking website! We're proud to provide the many conveniences that Online Banking offers. It's just another way of trying to achieve our primary goal: to be the best at serving our customers' banking needs.
Better banking is not simply adding the latest technology. It's about taking the time to know our customers' financial needs and having the expertise to meet those needs. We take pride in doing this every day, one customer at a time, mostly on a face-to-face basis. And because we're locally owned and understand the challenges our customers face, we believe we can do it better.
However, we also understand our customers are busy, and they can't always meet with us or even call us during regular banking hours. That's why Online Banking offers such a tremendous opportunity for our customers. You have access to your bank accounts whenever and wherever you need it. This is especially attractive to our business customers, because often the most convenient place to do their banking is at the office. So sign up today and start enjoying the benefits of Online Banking now!
NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS
All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts, and money-market deposit accounts.
For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.
